Black Bellied Whistling Duck

I know every bird in the mountains, and the creatures of the field are mine.
Psalm 50:11

There was a another black bellied whistling duck, in the tree next to it. I assume it was it's mate and
when we made a little too much noise they flew off together. We only occasionally see these ducks

around here...they fly off when there's too much noise + 5 kids = very few sightings. What a blessing to enjoy early in the morning while McDaddy and I were eating breakfast {alone} in the backyard!
