You know when you are learning to live beautifully, simply and focused on God. Everything gets a little better day by day you smile a little more, laugh a little more, have a little more fun and most importantly you learn more about Him each day. Therefore, rid yourselves of all malice and all deceit, hypocrisy, envy, and slander of every kind. Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up in your salvation, now that you have tasted that the Lord is good. 1 Peter 2:1-3

As of late I have lacked contentedness, until the Lord brought it to my attention. Even that I was worrying over the future which I am not guaranteed. What a blessing are the words of Paul while he was in prison...

I am not saying this because I am in need, for I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances.I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. Philippians 4:11-12

I am not in need either, except in need of a savior. To daily pick up my cross and help me remember how blessed I am. How the Lord has changed my heart and moved me from the world to the eternal .

Things that I never would have dreamed that I'd love to do are wonderful. Laundry becomes a blessing a time to pray over the clothes the family will wear. "Therefore, as God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience."Col. 3:12

I will remember to be thankful, grateful , overflowing....

Be joyful always, pray without ceasing and be thankful in ALL circumstances for this is Gods will for you in Christ Jesus. 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18.

We need You Jesus daily, even when we do the laundry...thank You for clothes!!!

I know, I found myself complaining this week, and I have to remember to put on thankfulness!!! I have so much to be thankful, and I feel so ashamed when I am not. It's something I have to get right so I can properly teach it to my kids. Thankfully,
