Another McChristmas Tradition

We read the Christmas story from Luke 2:1-20 (Birth of Jesus) about 20 times this month and we discuss all the aspects of the Christmas story every night. Right now since our curlies are little we have them find the symbols of Christmas A-Z and each night we see what new things we've noticed and we discuss the significance of the items we find. Last night we had an impromptu census and PK ran around and took the census. Sometimes we even hot coco, snacks & a roaring fire.

To Make your A-Z Symbols of Christmas: Take two sheets of paper, tape them together, write A-Z down the side. DO NOT MAKE IT COMPLICATED you have enough stress during the Christmas holidays. It does not need to be green & Red or scrapbooked just written and enjoyed and focused on Christ. Then write down as many things as you can next to each letter, and be sure to let the little ones who can write to write.
Merry Christmas!

I like this idea!
The kids have memorized this passage this Advent season, so I feel like we have learned a lot from it as well, but this is fun too.
