Wanna Camp?

We used to camp a lot then we started having kids and now we haven't been camping in about .....Hmmm I think Pearsy was with us and was a little baby. I know we went to Brownsville State Park when she was about 3 months old and I think we went to Fort Parker sometime after that. We

ll, we are inspired by the Watters and we are getting back into the swing of things. We are reserving a campsite at G......r in the second week of August (because it is all sold out!)and we are going to Camping near Austin the 2nd week of November at M......... and we will go somewhere around Spring Break time! If you would like to join us we'd love to have you. The only stipulations are we have to know you in 'real life' e-mail me and I will send you all of the details of the trips! If you want to go to G....r you need to reserve your site now...SERIOUSLY its almost all sold out!

Okay now all you campers need to tell me the cool stuff that they have at these two parks and what is near these two parks. Fun games & things you do when camping and easy family friendly meals to take along!

Hi Kyle,
My favorite camping meal is the "hobo meal" where you put your ground beef patty, potatoes, onions and carrots, a little butter and seasonings in a foil pouch and cook them over the coals of your campfire. So easy, but so tasty! Also, we like dump cake in a dutch oven and smores of course. :-) Check out www.free-camping-recipes.com!
Y'all have fun! :-)

I do have a dessert camping recipe.

Banana Boats,

•Banana's
•Marshmallows
•Butter
•Chocolate chips
•Foil Sheets

Make foil in to a banana shape, Cut your banana in
half place it in the foil, sprinkle marshmallows, chocolate chips, and spread some butter in it.
Close foil back up, and place on rack over fire.
