"The LORD, the LORD, the compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness, 7 Exodus 34:6
If I had gotten angry I would have missed this very funny moment from a child who was not wanting to rebel but to please her mom! I have to remind my self I gave unrighteous anger to God and step back take a breath remember a verse and move on! I love this verse from Exodus! Here are some of my current anger management verses.....
Proverbs 29:11A fool gives full vent to his anger, but a wise man keeps himself under control.
Proverbs 26:11 11 As a dog returns to its vomit, so a fool repeats his folly.
Proverbs 19:11 11 A man's wisdom gives him patience; it is to his glory to overlook an offense.
Ecclesiastes 7:9Do not be quickly provoked in your spirit, for anger resides in the lap of fools.
Proverbs 5:21-23 21 For a man's ways are in full view of the LORD, and he examines all his paths. 22 The evil deeds of a wicked man ensnare him; the cords of his sin hold him fast.
23 He will die for lack of discipline, led astray by his own great folly.

How is the new car?! Well I guess Wayne is driving it...you probably cant fit all the girls in there, lol
We have the Proverbs 29:11 posted big in the kitchen. Self control is what we are focusing on right now. Good post.
So, I want to know why shaking ice in a coffee pot would clean it...obviously, didn't work. But, I should know how to brew coffee in a kids cup...sounds like a usable boy scout tip! Also, I love the picture you created in my mind wildly shaking a coffee pot outside in a bathrobe!!!
So, about this post, do you think we do this to God? We only think we understand it all and totally mess it up...we are probably even proud of ourselves for thinking that we finally got it! Great post!
